The Mommy and Gideon Show

Day one by ourselves–things are going pretty well. Boy, can this kid eat! For lack of a portable bassinet, here’s where he ended up while I took a bath:

No crafting whatsoever–I’ve knitted one row on one sock since he was born, total.

My parents who married during WW II didn’t have money for a crib when I was born, so my bed was a dresser drawer softened with blankets. Once they’d saved up the money, they bought a crib. They rarely bought anything on credit.
