Bacon Cheddar Popovers

Okay, I admit that these don’t photograph as well as, say, a fondant-covered cake with sugared violets. But come on, people! Bacon. Cheddar. What more could a person want? Oh, and they’re super-easy. I’ve posted the recipe over at Tasty Kitchen. Check it out!

Community Sale Report

It was a nice day–not too hot. We had about 200 people come through altogether, most looking for cheap yardsale bargains, though many stopped to look at my table. Sale Tomorrow

At last, non-knitting content! This evening I put dozens of earrings on cards in preparation for my first-ever show. And by show, I mean yard sale. Forgive me if I’m not much inclined to bake, paint murals in the bathroom, or crawl around cutting out sewing pattern pieces at the moment. But the crafting continues. [...]

The Crocheted Steek

Honestly, I don’t cut up all my knitting. In fact, this is only the second time I’ve ever done so. But since I had a sweater to cut up, a camera with a nifty macro setting, and a blog, I figured I might as well throw the process up here for the edification of anybody [...]

I’m not dead yet…

So the last four days have been eventful, but not particularly bloggable. Let’s just say that it’s hard to knit with an IV in your hand. But I’m doing better, and spent the entire day today working on my Drops cardigan. Tomorrow, I’ll have a rundown on the modifications and scary bits, but for now, [...]
