Wool on a hot day
Work on the Drops 97-24 continues, despite the fact that this is one of the hottest days in Western Washington history. Thankfully, I’ve progressed to the sleeve, so I don’t have to hold the body in my lap anymore. I’m enjoying the process. Colorwork on DPNs is something new to me. It’s somthing of a struggle to manipulate multiple yarns and multiple needles simultaneously–I may have had more success with Magic Loop. This is an important question because the Fall 09 Interweave Knits preview is up, and the only pattern that really jumps out at me is the Bandelier Socks. Colorwork on DPNs, naturally.
